Engaged
On Sunday March 21 Dan and I were in Florence, Italy.
That evening after dinner and gelato we were walking by the Duomo and in a quiet spot where teenagers weren’t playing football he stopped to “tie his shoe” pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him.
After some shocked tears I said yes. 
The ring
It’s by jewelery designer Ayesha Mayadas. I love her work it’s very organic and subtle.
I picked this ring out because after looking at diamond solitaires none of them felt right.
It just seemed like I would get it caught in my hair, snagged on a sweater or food would get stuck in it. Because that’s just how I am. But I love this one with all these sparkly little diamonds.
