Tokyo

Our trip to Tokyo was crazy and busy and I'm just going to up load photos in bits and pieces so I'm not overwhelmed by the project. On the second day we did things that I wanted to do. 1. Visit the Chihiro Art Museum. This is a popular Japanese children's book illustrator. It was a small museum built on the site of her residence in Tokyo. It had a lot of her work, a recreation of her studio and a gallery of current children's book illustrators from around Asia.

It was awesome.

With two maps to the museum and an atlas it only took us an hour and a half to find it. That's pretty good considering it's Tokyo

They have a place where you can pet a room full of cats. So we HAD to go. It wasn't as awesome as I thought it would be. I forgot how indifferent cats can be. But this white cat kind of freaked me out because it was so BIG. I think Dan was afraid to get close to it.
